Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be used for multiple purposes. It can be converted from a single stroller to double strollers by adding the second seat (sold separately) or a glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection can be set up to a triple travel system by adding a bench or an infant car seat. It comes with 24 options in all and is the most highly rated stroller. The model is made of Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating the temperature. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is also lighter.
It has a moderate-sized shade and an e-snap-aboo window which is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the simplest to adjust and works well for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and they have a footwell adjustment knob to allow you to position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious however we wish it had an opening that was more secure. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they have to be completely undone and refastened to each use.
Like its siblings like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes which are easy to set and release using the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and is an improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake lever that a few of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that accepts two infant car seats making it an ideal alternative for twins, or for parents with a single child and a new baby due. It is compatible with all major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a good alternative for families who already own car seats, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you may be better served with another convertible stroller in this instance.
